HIDROSILO is effective in the cultivation of trees, shrubs and plants. Reduces death caused by replanting and increases root development, contributing to faster growth and higher productivity.
Use: make a hole of approximately three times larger than the root system. Add the HIDROSILO in loose soil, without clods and make a uniform mixture of the polymer. Leave a small amount of soil without the HIDROSILO.
Place the plant root in the hole and fill the hole with the mixture of soil and HIDROSILO. Make sure that the soil is evenly distributed around the roots.
Then, pour 5 cm of the soil without HIDROSILO to prevent gel formation on the surface.
Be careful not to put the HIDROSILO pure, unmixed polymer at the bottom of the pit, as after hydration it may compromise the plant’s stability.
Dosage: 1 to 2 kg/m3 soil
For planting seedlings – as a fixing aid – such as eucalyptus, citrus fruits, coffee and hedges like Sansão do Campo (Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia), it should be used in the form of hydrogel. Use: for 200 liters of water, add 1 to 1.5 kg of HIDROSILO and stir. After the hydrogel occupies the water volume (after 30 to 60 min.), add 1 L per pit. Place the seedling in the center of the pit and cover the hole with soil. Irrigate right after.
Dosage: 1 L of hydrogel/pit
