HIDROSILO

Since mining sludge contains a high water content, it can be solidified by adding HIDROSILO and thereby reducing the risk of accidental spills. After adding the polymer, the sludge will acquire a pasty consistency and can be handled with a wheel loader or conveyor belt to a safe place. HIDROSILO has high stability to solar UV radiation, which reduces the risk of sludge liquefaction during handling. The sludge solidified with HIDROSILO can be mixed with soil and destined for planting reforestation. As the moisture content of the mud is very variable, it will be advisable to carry out a pilot test to establish the amount of polymer to be used.
