HIDROSILO

ROOT CONDITIONING

HIDROSILO can be used for conditioning the roots to prevent drying of the roots during transplantation or prolonged transport. Conditioning is carried out as follows: Add and shake 500 to 750 g of HIDROSILO in 100 liters of water or proportionally in a smaller volume. The number may vary depending on the salinity of the water. Allow the HIDROSILO to swell long enough until the hydrogel occupies the entire volume of water. This can vary from 30 to 60 minutes. Dip the roots of the plants in a container filled with hydrogel of adequate volume to cover the entire root. To protect plants from nematodes and fungi, soluble fungicides and nematicides can be added to the water.

Dosage: from 500 to 750 g for 100 L of water.
